When you judge whether an act was right, what are you really weighing?

- Consequentialist
- Look at the results — outcomes are what make an act good or bad.
- Duty-based
- Some acts are right or wrong in themselves, whatever the outcome.
- Virtue-based
- Ask what a person of good character would do; actions and character shape each other.
What it does not measure
Not how moral a person you are — it's which kind of reason moves you, not how good you are.
An axis is a spectrum, not a box. A reading places your answers toward a pole — and only when you said enough to place them; otherwise it leaves the axis open.
